PROJECT TOKYO/Making of/制作の裏側
Shinjuku at night. One continuous shot, 480 frames, running inside a Shopify theme. Here is how it went from a Blender scene to something that looks filmed.

Drag to compare. Same street, same signs, same camera.
The Nishi-Shinjuku towers, the station tracks, a 3-chōme backstreet with every sign placed by hand, and our own store down to the stools. Blender gave us the layout, the camera path and the exact framing for every moment of the flight.

Each Blender frame was the reference for a photoreal still: the same composition and the same signs, with real materials, rain, wet asphalt, lens bloom and film grain. Six stills, one for every scene.

Every clip starts on one still and lands on the next, so the seams disappear. The camera drops from the skyline over the JR tracks, between the rooftops, down the wet street and through a single sliding door into the store. One continuous take.

Cropping a wide film to a phone loses half the frame. So the phone gets its own vertical film, built from its own vertical stills, framed for a thumb and a 6-inch screen.

Upscaled to 4K, then re-timed with optical flow so the camera moves at a steady speed under your scroll. The player is a custom Online Store 2.0 section: three frame sets that load progressively, decoding off the main thread, frame blending for slow scrolls, and a store you can click into at the end. No apps, no plugins.
